Ontario is one of the most culturally diverse and rich regions of the world. We deserve rich and diverse communities.The Ontario Smart Growth Network brings provincial and community leaders together to help design compact and healthy communities -- places you'd be proud to call home.

1. We provide a forum for discussion and debate through seminars and workshops;
   
2. We provide leadership to municipalities, planners, and developers; and
   
3. We facilitate cooperation and learning among our members.

Ontario needs to find room for several million new people over the next 30 years. Let's make this growth work for us to rebuild under-developed communities, stop sprawl, provide better transportation options and create neighbourhoods and villages where people can meet, shop, play, work, and build a true community.

At the same time we will be saving precious farmland and natural areas, reducing smog and oil-dependency, improving public health, reducing housing costs, and creating safer communities.

It's time we changed the face of development in Ontario!
